Use contrasting solid colours, combine matte and glossy surfaces, pair textured clay with printed designs, or add a resin finish to the lower element for extra depth and shine.

Create a finished earring design
For the two-part version, drill two symmetrical connection holes near the lower sides of the upper element and corresponding holes in the two upper points of the chevron base. Connect the pieces with small jump rings.
A small hole at the top of the upper element can be used to attach your preferred earring finding, including a ball stud component.
The double connection gives the finished earrings a balanced look while allowing subtle movement between the two sections.
