The Classic Gem Cutter features an elegant rectangular form with softly cut corners, inspired by traditional gemstone shapes. Its balanced proportions make it suitable for both minimalist pieces and more decorative, statement designs.

Use a single size to create polished studs, pendants or simple drops. Combine coordinating sizes to build layered earrings in which the smaller element works as a top piece and the larger shape becomes the main drop. The repeated silhouette keeps the finished design visually cohesive, even when different colours, textures or surface finishes are used.

The Classic Gem Cutter is available in three graduated sizes. Each size is sold separately, allowing you to choose the exact proportion needed for your project or collect all three for coordinated jewellery designs.

How to use

Condition and roll the polymer clay to an even thickness. Place the clay on a clean, flat surface and press the cutter down firmly without twisting.

For easier release, lightly dust the clay or cutter with cornstarch, or use a small amount of water depending on your preferred technique.

After baking, the pieces may be sanded, polished, drilled and finished with resin or another suitable coating. Add jump rings, posts or a chain to turn the components into earrings, charms or pendants.

Care instructions

Wash gently by hand using cool or lukewarm water and mild soap. Avoid dishwashers, very hot water, prolonged soaking and direct heat.

Store flat and protect the cutting edge from pressure or bending.
